How to Sell WoW Gold Safely (Retail & Classic)

Selling World of Warcraft gold is one of the oldest trades in gaming. Here is how to price it, deliver it without risk, and keep most of the money.

Updated 17 October 2026

1. Know what buyers look for

Buyers search by region (EU or NA), server and faction. An offer that matches all three sells; a vague one does not. On LLoot, WoW gold is priced per 100K gold on Retail and per 100 gold on Classic, so buyers can compare offers at a glance.

2. Set a competitive price

Open the WoW gold listings or WoW Classic gold listings: offers are sorted cheapest first, so the lowest price wins the most orders. Price a little under the cheapest offer for your server, and use volume discounts (for example −2% from 1M gold) to win bigger orders.

With a 1.5% seller fee and no buyer fee, you can price lower than on marketplaces that take more and still keep the same amount.

3. Choose a delivery method

Whatever the method, take a screenshot of the trade window or the sent mail and post it in the order chat. It settles any dispute in seconds.

4. Sell it on LLoot, step by step

  1. Create your offer: game, region, server, faction, price per 100K, stock and delivery time.
  2. When an order is paid, you are notified. Deliver in game within the time you promised.
  3. Mark the order as delivered. The buyer confirms, or the order confirms itself 72 hours after delivery.
  4. The sale becomes withdrawable 7 days after confirmation, in USDT or USDC on Polygon, with no withdrawal fee.

5. Avoid the classic traps

Know the rules. Blizzard's terms of service forbid real-money trading, and accounts can be restricted for it. Trade knowingly, never share your password unless you are selling the account, and keep every exchange inside the LLoot order chat so LowGuard can protect you.
